Thomas P. Shortell, DDS

Dr. Shortell has been practicing dentistry in Mission, Kansas since 1984.

He is a graduate of the UMKC Dental School and Pittsburgh State University. He has been married to his wife, Susan, since 1982 and they have four boys. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Fifth District Dental Society, America Academy of Laser Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He loves sports and has coached youth sports for years. The office mission statement is very simple; Dr. Shortell follows the golden rule “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Jennifer

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jennifer has an Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees from Wichita State University and a Master’s of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene Education from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry. She is certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, local anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation and laser therapy. She has been with Dr. Shortell for several years, and many of our patients ask for her by name.
